Frequently Asked Questions

How do I reprint my tickets and receipts?

Check your email for the registration confirmation email.  There will be a link there back to your registration summary to reprint tickets or receipts.  If you have an EZregister account you can return to your registration summary anytime from the control panel after logging in to your account and click on the link for "My Registrations".  If you did not set up an account when registering for an event then you can reprint tickets here: www.ezregister.com/tickets

What are the popups that say: "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items. Do you want to display the nonsecure items?"

This problem is usually isolated to Internet Explorer.  EZregister uses the secure https:// protocol for collecting data on our registration forms.  If the event page is displaying advertiser links with an http:// protocol or if a promoter has customized their event page with a custom header or footer and included images that are linked to their own website or an outside source like PhotoBucket with an http:// protocol, then IE will show this warning to let you  know the content on the page is mixed between secure and unsucure items.  You can turn off the error message in Internet Explorer. Go to Tools, select Internet Options, and go to the Security tab. Click Custom Level, scroll down to Miscellaneous, and look for the radio button for "Display mixed content". It is set to Prompt by default. If you change it to Enable, nonsecure content will always be displayed. If you change it to Disable, nonsecure content cannot be displayed.

How do I copy an event?

On the My Events page next to the event you want to copy go to the Event Edit/ Manage option and on the Event Management menu choose “Copy”.  You will be taken to the event information page for the new event.  Change the dates and title to what you want for the new event (the system adds – “(copy)” to the end the new event title by default so you will have to remove this).  Hit save at the bottom of the page and the entire new event is created including all the previous transactions, questions, etc.  You can make any changes you want to any section on your copied event and it will not affect the original.  The system recognizes each event by id number so it is OK to have virtually all the same information like same title, etc.  Publish whenever you are ready to have the event online.  You can create multiple copies in this way and you don’t have to publish until you are ready to start advertising the event.  To make additional copies you will have to return to the “My Events” page and choose copy again.

What are "Incomplete" registrations?

Incompletes are defined as registrants that have successfully completed the registration page but have somehow abandoned their payment on the PayPal site.  They are caused most likely by PayPal not accepting the payment due to wrong credit card information, wrong address, expired card, insufficient funds, user errors, etc.  A transaction can not become “Completed” until the payment is successful.  Many users may try several times to complete a registration even if their credit card is not accepted and your registration summary and detailed report may reflect this with multiple incomplete entries for the same person.  It is up to the discretion of the promoter if they wish to contact these registrants and attempt to secure payment or have the registrant try their registration again.
