“Barefoot” Volleyball Summer-fest

An event to unite our community and give shoes, smiles and hope to the children of the Dominican Republic.

Join us at our super fun and friendly Barefoot Volleyball tournament to help the children living in the mountains around our sister Diocese of San Juan de la Maguana in the Dominican Republic. Let’s put a good pair of shoes on their feet and a smile on their faces! 

Shoes are required to register, not to play! We are asking each team member to donate a pair of new or like new athletic (sneakers) shoes sizes Men’s 7-9 or Women’s 7-9. If you are not sure what type of shoes to buy, no problem, you can register with a $20 donation.

Please bring your shoes the day of the event or to the table after the weekend Masses of August 7/8 and 14/15. We’ll give you an index card to write the shoe size and a message to the child receiving the shoes.

There will be food, beverages, music and special “do over calls” for sale so please bring cash. All the proceeds will go to buy and send more shoes.
