I’m honored to provide the youth of our community with art and games instruction. As a elementary and middle school classroom and art teacher for twenty years I’m committed to facilitating instruction that provides students with the opportunity to develop and practice visual art skills, employ critical thinking, and create concrete works inspired by their unique character and story. My approach to teaching art is based on the belief that everyone has a story to tell. These stories and expressions contain inspiration and practical help we all need to make the world a better place.
Art instruction should be fun and what better way to get the creative juices flowing then moving our bodies! Students produce wonderful artwork when their minds and bodies are warmed up! So we will be playing movement games and some simple sports to keep our bodies healthy and our minds alert.
