Mondays 10:30  (this is a "Bring Baby" Class)

Tuesdays at 10:30 

Fridays at 10:30

What you’ll experience each week

For toddlers and preschool aged children with their parents, this class provides a delightful environment unlike any other. Through a unique blend of multi-age activities that include creative movement, vocal play, object and instrument exploration, and a colorful literature component, all families will enjoy these activities!

Variety of Music
Musical diversity builds strong neural networks in the brains of all children, which is why this class contains an array of styles, sounds, and genres.

Instrument Play
Age-appropriate experiences with child-safe instruments enhance a sense of rhythm and steady beat, develop a keen awareness of the distinguishing qualities of sound, and encourage spontaneity and creativity.

Dance
A classroom full of children and their adult pairs dancing together helps a little body develop the muscle strength needed to walk and run, introduces social skills in a fun way for toddlers and challenges preschoolers to remember steps in sequencing. It is great for all of us as it helps us all to fall in love with the simple joy of responding to music.

Together Time
A Kindermusik class is truly the essence of “quality time,” offering parents and other caregivers a place to create special memories with their child/ren, gain new insights into development, and nurture a natural love of music in their family.

Expert Advice in Using Sign Language
A Kindermusik Educator explains “what to watch for” when uing sign langauge with your child and how sign language can enhance a child’s language development.

Learning Continues at Home
With the Home Materials, the learning continues at home with the child’s best teacher—the parent! 

 

Spring 2012 ABC Music & Me Units
Here’s what we’ll be singing about this Spring...

March & July – Up In the Sky
In your Home Kit read the story we’re sharing in class called Someone Bigger, about a boy who wants to take over the reins of the family kite. Then grab a scarf or handkerchief and imitate the up and down crouching, reaching, and running associated with flying a kite—just like the boy in our story. Your Family Guide magazine includes activities you can easily incorporate into your day to reinforce our counting and color-learning activities in class. Home Kit: Three-bell jingle instrument, Home CD, and magazine-style Family Guide (includes the class storySomeone Bigger)

April – Down On the Ground
This month in class we’ll take a Listening Walk, and read about a girl who takes a silent walk with her father listening for sounds along the way. When you play the music CD, share the activities, and take a listening walk of your own at home, you’ll help your child learn to love to observe and learn from the world around her.  Home Kit:  Snail, Home CD and magazine-style Family Guide (includes the story The Listening Walk)

Registration Fees

Registration Fee is $175 er 8 week session/

Includes registration, tuition, and 2 home kits.

Food Drink Toys and Bottles
These items are not allowed in the studio, please leave them in the car

Make Ups
Make ups are offered when possible on a space-available basis as a courtesy.  Make ups are not guaranteed or included with enrollment.  Make ups must be completed within the current session.

Refunds
Your registration fee is fully refundable up to 48 hours after the first class meeting, no questions asked, minus materials fee for any opened materials.  After this date, no refund is available.

Siblings

Sibling fee is $65 per session.  Older sibling may attend any class time, younger sibling may attend Monday 10:30 class only
