Advanced Stroke Life Support  (ASLS)

What is ASLS?

This course addresses the pre-hospital, emergency department, and stroke unit management of patients with acute stroke. Using interactive discussions, hands-on workshops, multimedia and standardized patients, the course includes rapid recognition of five major stroke syndromes and use of a focused neurologic evaluation to identify stroke, its location, severity, and thrombolytic therapy considerations in acute ischemic stroke patients.

You will recieve an ASLS book, a pocket card, and a certificate at the class free of charge (courtesy of Centura Health Stroke Network). There is no pre-work required prior to class.
