WHAT: Calling all diverse couples!

Break out the breath mints and celebrate with us in Times Square on Saturday, August 14th on the 65th Anniversary of the most famous kiss in American history. We've all seen the famous photo of the sailor and nurse celebrating the end of World War II - now we're inviting couples from all generations and walks of life to gather at 44th Street and Broadway to participate in a kiss-in to honor the universal ideals of peace, love, and hope.

A special invitation is extended to couples whose kisses bridge boundaries, be they religious, political, racial, national, or otherwise, as well as veterans of WWII, returning veterans from the Iraq War, and couples in costumes commemorating the original 1945 kiss.
