About Kindermusik International
Taught around the globe by over 5,000 music educators, Kindermusik incorporates the most current research on early childhood development into every class.
Kindermusik classes provide families a special place for learning and connecting with other parents, babies and kids through music and movement. In a social setting, we dance and move, sing and chant, play instruments and games, and make friends.
What you’ll experience at a Kindermusik class:
Variety of music.
Musical diversity builds strong neural networks in a child’s forming mind, which is why each Kindermusik unit contains an array of musical styles, sounds, and genres including folk, world, jazz, classical and others.
Instrument play.
Age-appropriate exploration with real instruments enhances a sense of rhythm and steady beat, develops a keen awareness of the distinguishing qualities of sound, and encourages spontaneity and creativity.
Dance.
A room full of family and friends dancing together helps a little body develop the muscle strength needed to crawl and walk and helps a little heart to fall in love with the sheer joy of responding to music.
Together time.
Kindermusik is a NO PHONE ZONE and it's truly the essence of “quality time”. We provide you a place to create special memories, nurture the growing bond you share, and gain new insights into your child’s development.
Sign language for early communication
You will learn American Sign Language in class and techniques on how to use sign language every day to enhance your child’s language development.

Please do not bring in any type of food, drinks, or toys.
These items are not allowed anywhere in the studio, please leave them in the car.
In the interest of cleanliness, distraction and fairness, this rule is very important.
If you send another person to attend with your child, please let them know (also important) Breastfeeding OK at anytime.

Kindermusik Kids
18 months to 4 years:

- Friday 9:30 (mixed ages)
There is no charge for your initial preview visit, but there are limited openings in each class, so pre registration is important.

Melissa Ayotte has been a children's piano teacher in Marin for over 20 years. She works professionally as a local church organist and piano accompanist, she operates a top Kindermusik program and is a certified attendee of Drum Circle Facilitation training with Arthur Hull.
