Conference has been postponed due to Strike. This will be the first meeting of the European chapter of the SGI User Group. The intention is to bring together people who have an interest in sharing information and improving the technical productivity of SGI high-performance computing, data storage, and visualization systems. As well as other users from around Europe with similar interests, some technical staff from SGI will be present to provide up to date information and add valuable insight to discussions. The meeting will be spread over two days to allow for travel to and from the event which will be hosted by CINES (Centre Informatique National de l'Enseignement Superieur) in Montpellier, France. The conference will be free of charge with some light refreshments provided as well as a wine reception on the evening of the first day. MEETING POSTPONED DUE TO STRIKE IN FRANCE

NOTICE _ Please Read This: apparently a rolling strike has been announced

in France starting on Oct 12 and will affect all transport in the country.

As such CINES have advised that the only course of action is to postpone

the user group meeting. Niell will email all registered attendees to inform them.

Due to the announcement of a rolling strike in France starting on October 12

and affecting all transport, unfortunately the planned European

SGI Users Group meeting is postponed.

The SGI User Group (SGIUG) is an independent, worldwide community focused on sharing information and improving the technical productivity of SGI® high-performance computing, data storage, and visualization systems.

The SGIUG-EU Preliminary Program includes:
