| The event will include a 5k/10k run, 5k walk and a Kids Run, as well as numerous activities for all ages. Each year, the non-profit group "Friends of AirLife" hosts the Annual AirLife Memorial Run/Walk in honor of the everyday heroes in EMS and those who have passed on. The race was created in memory of Pete Albplanalp, Beth Barber, Leslie Feldmann and Julie Olmstead, who died on December 14, 1997, in a helicopter crash and related car accident. | |||||||||||||||

The Friends of AirLife
The Friends of AIRLIFE Organization is a 501(c)3 non-profit group that was started in 1998 to raise funds and awareness after the fatal helicopter crash and related car accidents in Littleton, CO. donations and funds raised by the AirLife memorial Run/Walk are used for ongoing care and maintenance of the AIRLIFE Memorial Park near the site of the helicopter crash, EMS education, the Jim Ulrich Silver Falcon EMS Award, and charitable assistance to families of EMS professionals who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
