By now, we all know that leafy greens are super healthy & we should eat as many of them as we can. Of course, one of the easiest ways to incorporate greens into your diet is to throw together a salad. But are you tired of the same basic salad you’ve been making day in & day out?
In this class, Deb Klungle of Nourished Body will demonstrate how to add variety to your green salads. You will learn how to use different techniques for cutting your greens & vegetables to alter the texture & flavor of your salads even though all the ingredients are the same. Deb will also give you additional tips for changing up your salads to keep them satisfying. And of course, the evening wouldn't be complete without food, so she'll make an amazingly delicious Pad Thai salad with sweet ginger dressing to serve.
After this class, you’ll look forward to enjoying a salad at every meal or as a meal itself!
COST: $20
All foods prepared in this class are raw, vegan & completely free of dairy, egg, gluten, corn, soy & peanuts. The recipes designed for this class are low-glycemic & safe for diabetics & cancer patients.

OUR PHILOSOPHY:
SIMPLE, NUTRITIOUS, DELICIOUS
Our classes teach you how to prepare plant-based dishes, both raw & cooked, that are quick & easy so even busy people with no kitchen experience can make every day. Our recipes also call for ingredients that can be found in any local health food store & most grocery stores. No special ordering of expensive exotic foods required.
We focus on nutrient-dense whole foods that will nourish your body to keep you healthy & give you the energy to get through the day. And we want you to put the best foods available in your body so only organic ingredients are used whenever possible.
But really, it's all about the taste! Eating is an experience that should be enjoyed! We know you won't eat something if you don't like it, no matter how good it is for you. So we make sure our recipes are not just healthy, but satisfying & full of flavor, too.
THERE ARE SO MANY FREE RECIPES ONLINE. WHY TAKE A CLASS?
Yes, you can find plenty of recipes online & videos on YouTube - all for free. But Nourished Body classes are not just about the food; they are about the education. We can teach you more in 1-2 hours than what you might find surfing the internet for an entire day because we have already done the reading & have the experience. A live class provides an opportunity for you to interact with a real person, & ask questions & get practical answers that help you follow a healthy lifestyle every day. We also explain why some things are healthy & others are not. And of course, you also get to try the food to see if you like it before you spend a lot of money on a complicated recipe that calls for ingredients you've never even heard of.
Nourished Body classes are also about community. Attending a class makes you part of a group of like-minded people who are there to support you & your healthy lifestyle. We always have lively discussions about various topics (not always food-related), & many participants share their knowledge & experience so you get to learn from them as well.
