Title:  Electrical Safety Awareness:  Instructor: Landon Coleman

 The Electrical safety awareness class is designed to give a better understanding of OSHA’s Electrical Standards for both construction and General Industry.  Students will be able to identify unsafe electrical conditions and their relationship to work giving them a working knowledge of serious conditions and the threat they pose.. 

COURSE OUTCOMES

As a result of successfully completing this course, the student will be able to: 

• Identify three of the most frequently cited electrical violations


• Identify the gravity of the three most frequently cited items, (serious or non Serious)


• Discuss inspection requirements for electrical equipment.


• Understand those conditions requiring electrical PPE


• Explain training requirements.


• Identify and explain why electrical hazards are one of the top 4 killers in the construction industry. .
