Instructor: Joe Ornelas   COURSE DESCRIPTION:  Attendees will gain an understanding of the various safety and health issues that pop up in the office. These will include: Electrical, PPE, Ergonomics, Violence in the Workplace, OSHA Inspections and others. They will learn how to find and interpret the regulations that apply to the office work environment.

COURSE OUTCOMES: As a result of successfully completing this course, the student will be able to: 

• Know what hazards to look for in the office environment

• Explain Musculoskeletal and Repetitive Motion Disorders


• Develop pro-active strategies for prevention of workplace violence


• Use provided checklists  to conduct an inspection of the office


• Understand OSHA  documentation and posting  requirements


• Explain training requirements TOPICS
