Adams Mystery Playhouse History began in 1990, with the Death For Dinner Productions, performing traveling shows for churches, schools, corporations and the Department of Defense U.S.Military shows overseas. These successful shows became the hottest ticket in town, with performances for the public launched in 1992 at local hotels, restaurants and B&B's. After ten years of sold-out houses at a local B&B venue, it became evident that part-time Mysteries were no longer the order of the day. So, owners Carlos Cuellar and Marne Wills-Cuellar purchased a historic mansion at 24th and Federal and Adams Mystery Playhouse opened its doors on October 31st, 2006. AMP continues to be the only "Mystery Mansion” of its kind in the region. The entire first floor is uniquely and specifically designed as a Mystery Dinner Theatre, while retaining its "creepy mansion feel". If ticket sales are any indication, the public agrees that Adams Mystery Playhouse is one of Denver's top Attractions. |
