Ethics as a Tool for Competency - Afternoon: 1-4 pm
An ethics workshop for school counselors. Ethical issues regarding dual relationsips, online threats and bullying, suicidal ideation and more will be covered.
Through the use of case studies, ASCA codes, and personal experiences, this workshop will take the school counselor through a range of ethics scenarios that challenge even the most seasoned counselor. Attendees will get a review of the current advocacy needs for students that only school counselors can fulfil, and learn more about how to approach daily ethical challenges. Questions welcome!
