Bucket Brigade Presents:
5 Day Summer Theater Camp (for Grades 5-12)
with professional writer/actor/storyteller and all-around-Theater-Doer Jeremiah Gamble!
Who: For students going into Grades 5-12
(with all levels of theater experience)
When: Monday, July 16th-Friday July 20th
What (time?): From 9am-Noon
Where: Art House North, 793 Armstrong Avenue, Saint Paul MN 55102
How (much?): $135 if you register by June 1st. $150 if you register after June 1st.
Students will be exploring elements of theater through on-your-feet-exercises and improv games. They will be challenged and encouraged to freely express themselves, work in an ensemble, and effectively communicate physically and vocally. They will create a short original theater piece that will be performed for a public showcase Friday evening, July 20th, 7pm at Art House North.
We don't just "do theater games." We are passionate about creating new work– honestly wrestling with ideas and communicating them thoughtfully and imaginatively through art. We love inspiring students to find their voice and communicate what's in their head and heart.
The theme this year is: “Let Go” – what do we need to let go of? What’s holding us back… holding us down? What are we holding inside us? What do we need to let go of concerning ourselves? Concerning others? How do we live more freely? The students will create three original sketches based on the theme, we will compose an original song and develop a short poetic theater piece from their journalled thoughts on the topic.

Registration:
Online registration requires full payment at the time of registration UNLESS you'd rather pay by check, in which case, the full amount of registration is due a maximum of 10 days after you register. A $20 non-refundable deposit is included in the registration fee. If paying by check, please send check payable to Bucket Brigade to 858 Juno Ave, Saint Paul, MN 55102.
Scholarships:
A limited number of scholarships are available. Please email info@bucketbrigadetheater.com to discuss availability and eligibility.
Cancellation Policy:
• For registrations cancelled up to 1 week before the start of class a full refund made by check minus the $20 non-refundable deposit.
• No refund issued for registrations cancelled less than 1 week before the start of class.
• If less than the minimum of 10 students register, then the camp will be cancelled. In which case all who had registered will receive a full refund. (So far, after four summers, we've never had to cancel)
