Knoxville, TN 37902
WELCOME! ASERL Deans/Directors are invited to attend the Association's 2018 Spring Membership Meeting / Annual Meeting on May 30-31, 2018 in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The Annual Meeting will include annual Board elections and financial updates as well as an update on organizational development planning.
The Membership Meeting will feature a number of break-out sessions, as we experiment with a “modified unconference” format for this meeting. You’ll be asked to indicate the sessions in which you’d like to participate; the highest vote-getters will be selected for discussion at the meeting.
NEWS: Each ASERL library is invited to bring a Student Success representative to attend this meeting. These are emerging new roles within research libraries. We expect participants will include those who manage these Student Success roles as well as those with front-line responsibilities. The meeting will feature a keynote presentation from University of Tennessee administrators (provost and assistant provost) discussing their views on how libraries can support these initiatives. We will also offer dedicated break-out sessions for the Student Success attendees and opportunities for networking.
