Stress is one of the most common and complex causes varying levels of mental, emotional and physical distress in those who suffer from it. In the past three decades significant evidence has emerged that offers myriad forms of relief from stress and anxiety. In this course we will explore the signs and symptoms of stress and anxiety, as well as various evidence-based modalities and techniques for the reduction and management of these symptoms. These techniques range from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to meditation, aromatherapy, and mindfulness. Registraiton is required prior to event, including LICENSE TYPE AND NUMBER. JenTex Training & Consulting, LLC, SW CPE is recognized by the New York State Education Department’s State Board for Social Work as an approved provider of continuing education for licensed social workers #0136.
