Advanced Watercolor Cake & French Macaron Workshop
This workshop is perfect for home bakers and students looking to take their cakes to the next level. Prior cake experience is required. The class is completely hands on and capped at 12 students.
You will make a filled 6" watercolor cake. The cake will be decorated with gold leaf, a ganache drip, fresh florals, and French Macaron made during the workshop. The following skills will be covered :
French Macaron
Swiss Meringue Buttercream
Properly filling cakes using a buttercream dam
Crumb Coating
Buttercream Coating and Crisp Edges using the Shaving Method
Buttercream Watercolor Technique
Gold Leaf
Ganache Drip
Coffee and breakfast pastries will be served.

The Sweet Spot Holiday Block Party is on December 5th from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. There will be a bakesale featuring the businesses of Sweet Spot Kitchen, coffee from Community Matters Cafe, Letters to Santa, and the Supply Co will be open and decked out for gift giving season.
