- Proper measuring techniques, sanitation & cleanup, and kitchen etiquette.
Kids & Teens Summer Workshop Series
Join us for our summer workshop series designed for children and teens, aged 10-13. These weeklong workshops are best suited for those with some home kitchen experience, who are seeking to develop their pastry arts skills or gain experience that will allow them to continue onto culinary school or work in a professional bakery setting.
Each workshop will be held Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Early drop off begins at 8:30 a.m., and participants need to bring a bagged lunch each day. All tracks including Baking for Boys will offer instructions on proper measuring techniques, proper kitchen sanitation and cleanup, and kitchen etiquette. Each participant will receive an embroidered chef coat to wear during the workshops. If signed up for two workshops they will receive an apron as well.
Parents are invited to join us on Friday each week at 12:30 pm for a dessert buffet prepared by the participants.
BONUS: Sign up for one workshop, and receive $50 off the second workshop.

Cancellation Policy : Tickets are refundable until May 1st. After May 1st if we can fill your spot in the workshop from a wait-list you will receive a full refund. Tickets are also transferable if you can find someone to attend in your place.
The Sweet Spot Holiday Block Party is on December 5th from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM. There will be a bakesale featuring the businesses of Sweet Spot Kitchen, coffee from Community Matters Cafe, Letters to Santa, and the Supply Co will be open and decked out for gift giving season.
