Due to the recent developments amid the COVID-19 crisis, and the recommendations by the Centers for Disease Control pertaining to large gatherings, the Jeremy Bitner Fallen Officer Fund Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to postpone the 8th annual Jeremy Bitner Fallen Officer 5k/10k Run & 5k Walk, which had been scheduled for Saturday June 20, 2020. We are all experiencing unprecedented times, and the safety of our participants is paramount. As soon as we feel it is safe to reschedule our 8th annual event, we will update our social media pages and website. |
If you are still interested in assisting families of fallen officers, we are offering a virtual race. Sign up here just as if you were participating in person and complete your own 5k run/walk or 10k run between June 1 – June 30, 2020. When you are done, post your results to the Jeremy Bitner Fallen Officer Fund Facebook page. If you top your own personal record, bragging rights are allowed! After our virtual race ends on June 30, we will send you a race shirt, once we compile a list of all participants based on your registration. As always, feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns you have regarding our event. Take care of you and your families! |

| The 2020 Jeremy Bitner Fallen Officer Fund 5K/10K Run (3.1 miles/6.2 miles) & 5K Walk will start and finish at Cornerstone Park in Englewood, CO. |
| This course, which is certified, not only offers a scenic view of the beautiful Englewood, but also the Big Dry Creek Trail and the Mary Carter Greenway. The run/walk will start and finish at Cornerstone Park, where we invite everyone to join loved ones in a celebration of life and those lost in the line-of-duty. |
| Vendors and children’s activities will begin once the run/walk are completed, and will include a kids-run, and a day of fun-filled activities for the entire family to enjoy. There will also be a number of emergency vehicles available for touring, along with staff to answer any questions you may have. |
