Registration is required only for delegates and visitors to the Saturday business session of the ‘Aha Makua.
Theme: “E Ho‘oku‘ikahi Kākou” - Let Us Covenant Together (Ephesians 4:1–6)
Format: In these unprecedented times, the format of the ‘Aha Pae‘aina will be different. While we will miss being together in-person, sharing ono meals and talking story, we will make the most of this opportunity to “be together” in different ways.
The ‘Aha Pae‘aina will start at 3:00 pm on Sunday, October, 4, with a Conference-wide worship service. The various ‘Aha Iki meetings will be held Monday – Thursday. The Formation Missional Team will be planning workshops, free for anyone to attend, interspersed throughout the week. The ‘Aha will end with the Makua business session on Saturday and closing worship. All of this will take place online.
Registration: A separate registration packet for the ‘Aha Iki will be mailed to Hawaiian churches. For ‘Aha Iki information, go to www.hcucc.org.
Registration fee is $25.00 per person. All who attend must register by 4:00 pm on September 23, 2020.
Email Address: Each delegate must have their own individual email address, as all delegate materials and voting ballots will be linked to that particular email address.
No Late Registration will be accepted due to the need to upload registrant information prior to connecting; all such information must be submitted by the registration deadline.
Retired Ordained Clergy with standing in an association of the Hawai‘i Conference may have ‘Aha Makua fees waived.
Meeting Information:
Business: Each delegate will be asked to vote on important issues and therefore it is vitally important for your church’s delegate(s) to familiarize themselves with information about the business items. Updated information can be found on the Conference’s website at www.hcucc.org under Quick Links “2020 ‘Aha Pae‘aina.”
