This workshop will examine the emerging trends in suicide in the United States.This workshop will also look at the increasingly important task of supporting survivors after a suicide loss and the role that plays in suicide prevention. The special needs of children after a suicide loss with emphasis on what are age appropriate responses and information children should be given. The needs of the family and significant others after a suicide loss will also be discussed.
