This 2-hour training will focus on working with difficult to treat clients, particularly those diagnosed with a Personality Disorder. We will focus on providing effective interventions, while maintaining clear boundaries to keep the treatment moving along and to help the clinician/provider stay healthy and not burn-out. Attendees will learn about Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other therapeutic approaches used in working with these clients, as well as strategies for managing the impact of client behaviors, boundary setting and self-care.
