This virtual CE event hosted by Caring People will offer 2 CEs for SW and CCM on the topic of "OCD, Thought Fixation, and Conflict Resolution". Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a mental illness that consists of intrusive unwanted thoughts and behavioral rituals that are time consuming and severely impact quality of life. Thought fixation is one of the primary symptoms and can cause stress, anxiety, and self-doubt, as well as negatively impacting relationships. People with an OCD diagnosis often find themselves unable to find resolution and peace of mind due to their symptomatology. This presentation will address the importance and rationale of hierarchy development and how to determine an individual’s subjective units of distress scale (SUDS) as part of effective treatment.
