As the world's best athletes begin their travels to the Olympics in Japan, we thought we would bring the spirit of Japan to you.
It takes a lifetime of commitment to fulfill the Olympic dream and the same can be said for the multi-generational commitment that Yamazaki distillery has demonstrated as the first commercial whisky to open in Japan 98 years ago.
Made in three very different distilleries—Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita --Suntory whisky reflects the art of whisky-making in its highest form.
Like its cousins Scotch malt and blended Whiskies, Japanese Whisky follows similar steps in production and the final whisky product is a uniquely Japanese work of art, distinct and apart from its Scottish cousin, with flavor profiles only attainable in Japan.
