Walking-Working Surfaces - Final Rule/Fall Protection
ADOSH/OSHA updated the walking working standard for general industry. This new update requires fall protection for any employee working on an existing roof. This includes HVAC, facility maintenance professionals, and other trade employers. Regardless of the activity something must be provided to employees to prevent a fall hazard.
