On behalf of our co-sponsors in the College of Liberal Arts, the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, the Holocaust Resource Center and the Global Studies program, this will serve as the second lecture of our new series Communication: Engaging in Difficult Convesations on Thurs., 01/27/21 at 11:00 a.m. via Zoom.
Entitled Who Are We? Building Identity Rooted in Our Past and Moving Forward to Embrace Other Perspectives and Differences, this presentation will be given by Dr. Anita Foeman of West Chester University (https://www.wcupa.edu/arts-humanities/communicationStudies/Faculty/aFoeman.aspx)
By offering this new series for the greater Kean community, in concert with our co-sponsors it's our goal to provide students and faculty alike with the knowledge, training and tools they'll need to feel more confident and prepared to engage in what sometimes can be seen as "difficult conversations."
Please Note: In order to be certified at the end of this semester, all interested Kean students must either watch or attend all lectures. Missed our series' first lecture last Fall? Don't worry, you can still catch-up before this lecture here: https://youtu.be/ckXu3IKp1nc?t=1087.
***Due to the University's transition to predominantly remote work and classes effective 12/23/21 through 01/30/22 as new COVID-19 cases continue to rise, we can confirm that this next lecture in our series will be facilitated remotely as well.
