When was the last time you saw a three-piece family blues band with two left-handed guitarists? Let alone a blues band with three strong vocals, both female and male? Trampled Under Foot, winners of the 2008 International Blues Challenge, is like no other band you will ever see or hear. Danielle is an amazing blues singer and an excellent bassist. Kris fires right in the pocket on the drums and sings as well. Nick is a strong singer and an accomplished guitarist, winning the 2008 Albert King Award from the IBC.
TUF books venues and festivals world wide, having performed at numerous national and international blues festivals. TUF are registered songwriters / performers with BMI.
“The Current” Tomara Conrad/Taylor Marvin
In 2011, two young worlds of music collided. The unearthly vocals of sixteen-year-old singing sensation Tomara Conrad meld with the powerhouse trio of Taylor Marvin, Dylan Camacho, and Elias Euler of Taylor Marvin and the Golden Boys.
The resulting sound generated is so fresh and exciting, the band had to be named the current.
The virtuosity of each of the members, along with their varied musical backgrounds give them endless tools to sculpt an exciting new place in today’s musical landscape.
The future is the current.
Blue Star Connection is a 501(c)3 organization which provides access and ownership of musical instruments to medically-fragile children, teens, and young adults with cancer and other serious challenges. We have reached hundreds of kids and have donated musical gear to more than 25 Children's Hospital Music Therapy programs, as well as several other community programs. Our work is funded by instrument and monetary donations from the public, as well as by proceeds from our special events throughout the year.
