Please join the National Wildlife Federation's Early Childhood Health Outdoors (ECHO) & Sacred Grounds Detroit Program to learn how to create a high-quality outdoor learning environment that doesn’t have to break the bank! In this workshop you will receive tools on how to activate and improve your outdoor space through low-cost, high-impact changes. Workshop participants will gain inspiration and ideas that they can implement in their own spaces by creatively using affordable materials to support children’s play.
"Creative Play Settings for Outdoor Learning on a Budget" is a 1.5 hour training. Certificates will be issued for the training.
To ensure we support a growing network of nature play-based outdoor spaces in the city of Detroit, our NWF team will select 15 workshop participants that serve young children in the city of Detroit to receive a $500 Outdoor Innovation mini grant to add nature play-based elements to their program's outdoor space.
Training Details:
Date and Time: Tuesday, August 1, 6:00pm-7:30pm ET.
This training is provided at no cost to participants.
