Legal and Education staff from The Safe Center LI will facilitate a 90-minute presentation on domestic and intimate partner violence. The goal of this training is to expand our knowledge about the different forms of intimate partner violence and how the effects can manifest in a client emotionally, cognitively, physically and in their behavior. We will review different ways a trauma-informed approach can benefit clients by earning their trust and contribute to their long-term healing. Lastly, we will outline the services that The Safe Center offers to survivors of abuse.
