2024 ANCHASL Spring Meeting and Continuing Education
The Association of North Carolina Health and Science Libraries (ANCHASL) is holding their Virtual Spring Meeting and CE class on Thursday June 13th, from 1pm-3pm EST, and the topic of the class will be on Toxic Leadership in Libraries. This class will offer 1.5 MLA CE credit for attendees and ANCHASL members can attend for free, while non-members can attend for $25! The class will be recorded and shared with registrants if you have a conflict on June 13th.
Dr. Alma Ortega will teach her class “Toxic Leadership in Libraries”. Toxic leadership (TL) can be found in every workplace, including libraries--all types of libraries. Learn what TL is and what it is not, how to identify TL in the workplace, what can be done to ameliorate or eradicate it from your library, and how to go about reporting what you’ve witnessed. Find out what mechanisms are available at your library or institution to project employees
