Honomu, HI 96728
Hawai‘i Conference UCC Pastoral Leaders Retreat 2024
Our Formation Missional Team invites you:
“MANA‘OLANA: RENEWING HOPE”
Psalm 30:5,11
Tuesday 4:00 p.m. to Thursday 12:30 p.m.
- WORSHIP in the beauty of the Hāmākua coast
- REST (Honomū - the very name means “silent bay”)
- PLAY (“Choose your own adventure” free time plan)
- CONSIDER the wisdom of Psalm 30 as we engage in honest lament (“weeping may linger for the night”) and find ways to transform our mourning into dancing (“joy comes with the morning”)
- PRAY with each other… and for the churches we shepherd... and for the world God loves… and for mana‘o‘i‘o – a renewing of our hope!
Our highly subsidized registration fee ($175 single occupancy; $150 double) take into consideration the commitment to making this "away from the usual" palce accessible to all! (The planning team is excited about bringing some much needed revenue to the people near our own Hilo Coast UCC.) Questions? Contact Pastor Cara Ann Maeda, Hilo Coast UCC: pastorcaraann@gmail.com
