The Office on Mental Health/ Core Service Agency and the Harford County Sheriff’s Office Training Academy are pleased to announce the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) 40-hr. Certification training course for Law Enforcement. This training is open to all Harford County municipalities.
The dates are Monday, November 18th-22nd, 2024 from 0800-1600 hrs.
The course will be held at Aberdeen Volunteer Fire Company in their Community Room. This class is for all law enforcement officers who are seeking to be CIT Certified. The Crisis Intervention Team training is a comprehensive program. The course begins with some basic concepts of communication with people in crisis and elevates during the week to more advanced ideas.
