Registration Information:

There are separate registration packets for the ‘Aha Makua and State Council of Hawaiian Congregational Churches.

All local church delegates and visitors attending the ‘Aha Nā Kai ‘Ewalu shall register as required.

• All who attend must register by 4:00 pm, Monday, May 12, 2025.  One form, completed for each registrant with full payment ($95 per person).  Online registration will close at 4:00 pm on Friday, May 30, 2025.
  
  
• Walk-ins will be accepted at the ‘Aha Nā Kai ‘Ewalu on-site.
  
  
• Retired pastors who previously served our member Hawaiian churches will have their registration fees for the ‘Aha Nā Kai ‘Ewalu waived. Housing costs and airline reservations are on your own.

Meeting Information:

Business:
Delegates are encouraged to familiarize themselves with information on the business items that will be discussed during the annual meetings.

Transportation and Housing:

Airlines:
Delegates and visitors are responsible for their own flight reservations and payments. 

Ground Transportation:
Provided for all NEIGHBOR ISLAND PARTICIPANTS attending the ‘Aha Nā Kai ‘Ewalu and  ‘Aha Makua.

Arrivals: Shuttles will be arranged from the airport for those who fill out the transportation portion of the registration form and turn it in by May 12, 2025. Vans will meet only the flights for which we have scheduled pick-ups. If you decide later that you don’t need a ride, please call Chris Nuuhiwa at 808-791-5649 so the van drivers aren’t kept waiting for you.

We will NOT run continuous shuttles. Pick-up times will be arranged only for those providing arrival information on the registration form. When you arrive, go to the curb outside the Hawaiian Airlines baggage claim area. Please be patient if the van is not at the airport when you arrive.

Parking:
Parking is provied and preferred on the large lawn area. Handicapped parking and temporary unloading & loding may be done on the Hall side of the driveway.

Outrigger Kaua‘i Beach Resort (4431 Kaua‘i Beach Drive, Lihue).

Other Important Information: 

Handbook:
In an effort to be good stewards, the 'Aha Handbook will not be printed but will be available oneline. Notice will be given when the handbook is available. 

No Smoking:
No smoking is allowed inside the Lihue Parish Hall. Please respect this and smoke only off campus.

Worship Offerings:
Voluntary offerings will be collected at each worship service. If using a check, please write your checks out to AHEC. Mahalo!
