Understanding and Applying The Safe & Together™ Model in Family Court

Domestic violence cases frequently present some of the most complex and challenging decisions for judges, attorneys, and child welfare professionals. This training improves the quality of court hearings by teaching judges and attorneys about the latest policies, guidelines, and practices in this internationally recognized framework designed to improve system responses to families experiencing domestic violence, and how to apply it in Family Court proceedings. The Safe and Together™ Model has policy and practice implications for various professionals and systems, including domestic violence advocates, family service providers, courts, evaluators, community collaboratives, and other stakeholders.
