Returns To Cherry Creek On August 2nd
Amazing prizes, the best food and beverages from Cherry Creek’s best restaurants and a chance to hoist the Wicket and Sticket Cup!
You played it as a child, but here’s your chance to take croquet and summer fun to a whole new level!
The Tournament:
This 60-team single elimination Croquet Tournament is held on the outdoor plaza behind Elway’s. Battle other teams as you vie for the coveted Wicket and Sticket silver cup, or go for individual honors in a variety of categories including Best Dressed, Best Hat and Best Wicket Shot. Not sure that you have the skill to become a champion? Don’t worry, Professional Croquet Master Ron Eccles and his team of croquet referees will be on hand to provide instruction and insider tips. Prized categories include top three teams, Best Dressed Team, Best Dressed male and female, Best hat male and female and best wicket shot (1st and 2nd).
Wicket and Sticket kicks off at 2:00pm on Thursday, August 2nd at the Outdoor Plaza located at 2500 East 1st Ave. in the courtyard behind Elway’s.

Players and spectators receive 4 drink tickets to enjoy St. Germaine, Stella Artois and wine as well as tantalizing morsels from restaurants including Pasquni’s, BrioTuscan Grille, California Pizza Kitchen, Kona Grill and The Hawt Dog & Sausage Eatery and a fabulous goodie bag.
