Bill Cooper will conduct this class on the "new" Construction Standard for Cranes and Derricks. Training Requirements, certification requirements, and on-site planning will be discussed at length. All contractors on a jobsite where crane activities are taking place will be required to know the hazards and train their employees regarding recognition and avoidance of crane hazards and the safe practices to be implemented on specific jobsites. General Contractors have very specific duties for crane activities on each jobsite. This 3 hour class is an overview of the requirements and does not certify any attendee for any requirement.
